Out on the town!

Today was a very productive day! I fell asleep very early last nice and woke up bright and early at 8:30. I met the gang and we headed off to start our day.

The weather was beautiful, sunny again, and the temperature was slightly cold but felt good under the sun. We all had to take our coats on a off as the weather would fluctuate.

We started at St. Paul's Cathedral where we climbed up to the top. The view was amazing, and you could see the whole city from all sides of the dome. On the way up we climbed tons of stairs and I got a little bit scared when we reached the last batch of stairs. Some sections were tight to climb through and I had a big of claustrophobia. The climb was long winded but we made it up and back down in one piece. We then got to talk around the church and see the crypt where people such as the Duke of Wellington were buried.

Afterward we went to eat burgers. The place was really yummy and I grabbed fries and a milkshake, as usual. We walked over to the Tate Museum after lunch and walked along the fifth floor where they had photography, abstract art, and an Andy Warhol gallery. We met up with Lily and Britt and the whole group ventured off.

We walked past Shakespeare's Globe Theater. We tried to book tickets to Henry the VIII, but I think I will end up doing something different the night they go see the play. We also tried to find the Australlia Room where they filmed the Gringott's scene in Harry Potter. Unfortunately it was closed. Me, Lily, Britt, and Lauren ended up just walking around and stumbling across places. There was a group of men dressed as different movie characters so we stopped to take a picture of them because they were so random walking the streets in their costumes. We had a nice coffee and pastry and a place called Leon's and then we navigated our way homes, BY OURSELVES, using our handy tube map and common sense. When we got back to Chelsea we found a cute little park and sat on a bench and took silly pictures outside as the sun was setting. There were a lot of people just lounging on the benches and enjoying the rest of the nice weather.

We then had a girl's night and we hung out, talked, then grabbed a bite to eat at Oscar's (me and Lauren were there for the second time). Me and Lauren ended up staying to close and we just got back about an hour and half ago.

Now I'm back at the dorms watching Breakfast Club in the common room and uploading my pictures from Dublin. I love it here in London and I could honestly say I would live here if I had the opportunity. I will write tomorrow about my day in Windsor and tell all my tales about the castle!

Pip pip,
Leah
