I'M ALIVE!

I am reporting here from Galway, Ireland! So excited to be here, it is unreal. I didn't get a wink of sleep since the plane ride and I tried to take two naps so far, but still jet lagged. Happy cinco de mayo to all of you! We took a bus from Shannon to Galway so that was a good chance to see some country scenery. A lot of green! Green grass, green hills, green pasture. And a lot of cattle and round abouts.

Galway is very cute, the shops are all stacked side by side with stone walkways and alley ways and everything is very close together, it is a small city but very nice. We took a walking tour and saw some cathedrals and landmarks and Liam was our guide! He was the cutest little irish man with a little golfer's hat and sports coat who told us countless traditional stories about how lynching came about and all this other stuff that by the end he told us "there wasn't a bit-a truth to any of dat!" We were all walking around like zombies because we are friggin' sleep deprived and to have to walk around with no sleep is NOT FUN.

Tonight a group of us are eating at McDonaugh's to have authentic fish and chips(a place Liam recommended) and then heading to a pub to watch "Mystic Force" a river dancing group of ladies haha, I can't wait! I am at an internet cafe because we got gypped and do not have free wireless at the hotel. So I can't use my computer yet, because I am not paying 10£ to have internet for a day.

We got to roam around the city for awhile today after the walking tour and we stopped and got some pastries at a bakery. The weather here is nice, it isn't very cold, but cold enough! We all look so cute with our rain coats on. Everyone is really nice and they are all willing to help us with directions. Definitely some characters, such as the troll looking lady with crazy hair and her big belly hanging out of her purple mid drift shirt. Me and Brittany could not stop laughing.

I want to post all my pictures and videos so bad, but unfortunately that will have to wait when I get the chance to use my netbook. So for all of you skypers, you will have to wait til you can talk to me. So please msg me on facebook or anything to get in touch with me so that I can talk to you somehow!

Tomorrow is a day trip to Inis Mor, Arran Islands and evening at Monroe's Tavern to eat and have a complimentary pint of Guiness! I will update as much as possible! Miss everyone!
