BBC

Today we ate at a Dutch pancake house for lunch. The pancakes are so large and thin but so delicious and you can get yummy toppings. From fruits to meats... cheeses to peppers, there are unimaginable possibilities of things to top your pancakes.

After lunch I headed to the dorm to nap before BBC. Me and my roomie headed to Holborne where we met our class at the Bush House. This is where part of the BBC broadcasting takes place.

We met with BBC Persia and they talked a lot about news reporting on Iran and how it is difficult for them to report when the government there won't allow them to broadcast there. They get a majority of their information from civilians who send videos through facebook or email. They apparently have journalist contacts that they get reports from, but it is really dangerous for those in Iran to give out information.

For dinner we at Hercules Pub. We had the nicest waitress (the nicest I've had this whole trip) and we sat, talked, laughed, relaxed. Then we grabbed dessert at Stockpot's and had delicious tiramisu and chocolate ice cream.

I'm all packed for Venice and ready to hit the sack and wake up in 5 hours! I'm so excited I can't wait to see Italy!

Leah
