Hello London!

Today has been a very long day. We woke up early to attend the AIFS orientation at ULU (University of London). We walked for about 20 minutes to our metro station and rode the tram to the area where our school is. It took a good hour for us to finally get to our destination. That means I will have to wake up super early and leave by 7:30 to make it to class on time. We have classes a lot more frequently now that we are in London. It is good because after class we have full free days to spend doing whatever we want. Since I have been to London before there is so much I want to see that I didn't get to experience the first time.

After orientation we grabbed lunch and I had a delicious croissant with grilled ham and cheese. We then had a half-day tour around London. We got to spend about 15 minutes at major locations to take pictures. I saw the cathedral where Princess Diana got married, West Minster Abbey, the London Towers Bridge, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben. There were a lot of little things we saw on the way but I was too tired to pay attention.

Tonight we ate at a cute little place where we all got Italian food and had delicious desserts. I just came up from being downstairs, we were all doing our laundry. It will be so nice to wear my clean clothes again!

Tomorrow we are seeing Big Ben, going to the Tate Museum, and going to St. Paul's where there is a globe we can climb to the top (500 steps.. Yikes!) Hopefully I will make it through the day! Then we are going to explore the London nightlife!

Going to do some homework/research for my project that is due on Monday and then hit the sack. I will write later!

Pip pip,
Leah
